This Monday Mailbox Makeover features two Sale-A-Bration items! Sentiments chosen for this card are from the stamp set ‘Thanks a Bunch’ and the Designer Series Paper is called ‘Dainty Flowers’. These items are available during the 2023 Annual Sale-A-Bration event. Running now through the end of February.
During this short promotion, items are available only during this time and are all “while supplies last”.

Supplies are easy for this- as I mentioned above, having pre-cut circles in various sizes on hand makes for quick cardmaking.
TIP: I keep my make ahead shape ‘blanks’ in the nice plastic envelopes that Stampin’Up! Die Cuts come in. These store flat or vertical in a box to make grabbing out just the right size blanks quick. This saves you time in having to drag out the perfect punch for a project or die cutting for just 2 circles.
In today’s card I used one size circle – in the photo above I started with a larger Fresh Freesia colored circle but quickly found out that I like the unique-ness of having the same size cut in half and spread out to mimic a sort of oval.
Using liquid glue to adhere the white sentiment circle to the Fresh Freesia circle then used foam Stampin’ Dimensionals to lift the shape up off the surface for a bit of shape. For ink color- I used Blackberry Bliss ink but stamped it off first on scratch paper to closer mimic the Fresh Freesia color.
I love how this Makeover Monday card came out. It really hit all my Monday quick card parameters! The strips take two minutes to cut them into strips then all three at same time trimmed them with Paper Snips to banner cut the ends.
This card style fits just about any card making need, season and sentiment type! What kind of Designer Series Paper would you use? Leave me a comment and let me know!
Isn’t this stamp set super cute?
Check out the Sale-A-Bration promotion to snag some Stamps & Designer Series Paper. When you click the Project Supplies button below you will pop out to my webshop to an image of today’s project as well as a convenient shopping cart full of the items I’ve used in the card. Except: you won’t find the stamp set or Designer Series Paper. These items are the free Sale-A-Bration items – choose what you like!
If there are items you already have in your crafty collection- uncheck those to delete them from your cart.
Cards this size need custom envelopes – which is super easy! Here’s a template for you to use.
As well, when you click on the template it will take you to a blog post full of additional envelope templates. Making them yourself is super easy. All that’s needed is a paper trimmer, scoring blade (included with the Stampin’Up! Paper Trimmer) and a pair of scissors.
TIPS: Scoring: don’t press too hard – you want to lightly score not crease cut through the paper. Adhesive: I use a double sided dry adhesive like Tear n Tape for envelope making rather than glue – no paper puckering. I also prefer a really nice grade of high quality premium copy paper. Spending a bit more on your paper here makes for an envelope that is nice to the touch and isn’t see through.
Photo of today’s project one more time:) Thanks for joining me for a quick segment of Monday Mailbox Makeover. No matter which way you put those MMM’s it’s a fun way to bring back favorite quick and simple card making styles. This one never gets old.
Happy Monday, hope your week is wonderful!
Inky Hugs,
Teresa
