Zero Waste Card Making!
The Peaceful Cabin trees and Tiding of Christmas Designer Series Paper makes this Tri-Tag Card a stand out in the holiday cards I’ve made so far.
This outer piece of Designer Series Paper would have been destined for the vertical bin but luck was good when I was doing the die cutting for the tag card tutorial I did last month. Look at how great the outer three panel frame became when the tag dies lined up side by side like this!
I had a play at getting tag ‘frames’, I’m super pleased at how well the green ‘mat frames’ look.
Showing off more love for the removable ‘tag-card’ concept! Remember, when you use any type of removable adhesive on the back of tags, the person you send a card out to can simply pop them off and add to a gift this holiday season. For these tags, I grabbed some silver twine that I keep on hand for holiday gifting. I’m thrilled with how this turned out and it’s so fun!
The trees and cabin in this stamp set are truly lovely.
I used Stampin’Write Markers direct to stamp for these projects.
The ‘to/from’ is found on the large individual stamp called Many Happenings.
Doesn’t it look good on these tags?
I took the same approach for the inside of the card.
I am normally a simple sentiment stamper when it comes to the inside layer of cards because by the time I do the outside of cards I tend to keep the inside of the card simple. But this time, I wanted a forest of trees. This set makes a lovely forest quickly and easily.
Stampers Tip: I would encourage choosing the bundle rather than just the stamp set, I didn’t use the dies at all on this set of projects but the potential of creativity with those will be amazing!!
The trees turned out so well in the Tri-Tag project above that making a
Quick & Simple card was a breeze. I used all the same markers for this card.
I had a stab at coloring this cabin while I had the markers pulled out.
Have to say it turned out pretty good, however, it wasn’t quick
or terribly simple for my old eyes but I like it!
It’s time for a close up!
