Newsletter Tutorial Makeover
A Stampers Mailbox makes-over the monthly newsletter tutorial Interlocking Gate Fold Card. Last week the subscriber tutorial went out on the 15th. Check your inbox if you missed it! I decided to feature it here and on Facebook Live today! This is the card I included in the newsletter!

Supplies used in above card:
Let’s talk templates!
Template 1 <base cardstock> from the subscriber tutorial.
Today’s Facebook Live and this blog post- alter the base score to give a slight tweak on this card sketch and design. I still kept it quite basic. Once you make a few of these and alter the shape of the interlock closures – you can absolutely jazz up this basic design!

LET’S MAKE THIS!
This card is featured today on Facebook Live – A Stampers Mailbox. Hop over to see just how it’s done! The variation is a simple change in the score lines. Caution: the video is 1 hr 8 min long. Because I made a couple of mistakes – we love those! It’s opportunity to learn how to fix:) As well, I colored these images from start to finish.
Time Stamps to Help you watch without the extra coloring & chatter time:

Today really was a beautiful day here in Oklahoma! In the 70’s and sunny.
The day felt so spring like it inspired me to color this card in these lovely pastel tones!
I used Watercolor Pencils and Blender Pens to achieve this lovely soft look.
The inside is a sentiment and some subtle repeats of the outer images without the coloring. I really like this greeting – we don’t often tell those around us just how blessed we are to have them in our lives! Say it with a card!
One more view of the front!
I think now that I’m seeing it in digital format- I think the greeting needs a touch of something… maybe another mat of So Saffron Cardstock or maybe some inked flowers. Hmmm… I really like the Daffodil Afternoon Pale Papaya and Vanilla Dot Pattern Paper. Going to have to put the creative mind on it…
I would love to see what you do with this! I host a monthly Stampers Club and next month the card exchange theme is Interlocking Gate Fold Cards.
I hope they are inspired by these cards and I can’t wait to see what all of their creative minds come up with!
