MMM Make it Square
Today’s MMM Makeover Monday Make it Square comes from last weeks Slim Line Triangle card.
I really like this card – let’s make it square.
The photo below will take you over to the Facebook Live Demonstration to see how I made this card!
It falls under the <smack forehead> ‘why didn’t I think of this before?’ thought!

Scrap of White for outer greeting
In keeping with the slim line card concept – I created quick and simple triangle flaps.
To do this – after scoring 2 1/8″ on all four sides- then align the DSP or Cardstock if you are using that back in your trimmer. Take a pencil and mark a 4 1/4″ tic marks on all four edges. Place the paper into the trimmer aligning the tic mark along the cutting guide.
I show how to do this in today’s video! Click on the first photo to see this.
It’s super easy!
This makes for easy shaping of a triangular card front.
From here you can do as I did and make a very simple belly band using slivers of the patterned paper to frame the greeting.
This card is a lot of fun to make and it’s super simple.
Now it’s time for a DIY Envelope.
I explain in the video which template to use and how to modify it to fit this smaller card.
