Well, Saturday really. I made this mini card aka lunch box notecard yesterday but didn’t get to the blog.
Let’s chat this project up!
A Crafters Collaboration October theme: Lunch Box Note aka Mini Card. I have not been a diligent crafter this month and even a more lax blogger. You know how some weeks you just go through a crafty slump? That’s been me. I’m back today with some Friday Find Your Inspiration!
I created this mini card and matching envelope for yesterday’s ‘A Crafters Collaboration’ Facebook and Instagram posts and thought would share it here as well.
I like to call cards like these “Desk Drops”. They are the perfect size for a co-workers desks for the be a pal pick-me-up gift! I love this stamp set to pair with a house plant gift. The nurseries and home improvement stores spring & fall typically get really nice shipments of lovely plants.
Paired with a quick & simple mini card makes this just alot of of fun.
This mini card is paired with a coordinating DIY envelope. I used two colors of ink to bring a touch of dimension to this stamp. It really doesn’t need two inks as the stamps are designed as ‘distINKtive’ to create the appearance of tonal color values with one ink.
This template is the 2nd version with a slight measurement update from the envelopes shown on a previous blog post that was all about Do It Yourself Envelopes. A special Shout-Out to my crafty pal Sheri W. for this wonderful template. She loves to make these to have to tuck into wee ones lunch pails.
Wouldn’t it be fun to have a box made up with these size cards & envelopes to have ready to drop on desks or into lunch boxes.
Donna – thank you so much! I wish I had made more Lunch Box notes through October- they are so quick and simple! The Forever Fern set is especially lovely with fall colors too! Happy Stamping, Teresa
Such a fun project! I love this stamp set and use it quite often.
