Today’s installment of FYI*F* Find Your Inspiration Friday is a quick and simple friendship card that features retiring stamps and ink. As I was looking though my stack of stamps that have been marked for retirement status – I came across this set. I won it at a Stampin’Up! demonstrator event and it hasn’t gotten enough use this year. It gets one more inky moment!
This is a stamp set that has a Valentines Day vibe but has this great friendship sentiment in it and several small stamps. I love using small stamps along an edge of a layer.
I kept this card very quick and simple. With two colors of ink and two cardstsok colors.
Isn’t this a great saying!
For the leaf variation – I used Just Jade In Color Ink. By stamping off on scratch paper then stamping the larger leaf stamp I was able to have a light green & a dark green hue but only using one ink pad. The flowers are Bumblebee Ink. These two colors are part of the outgoing In Color Ink Collection. Time to make way for 5 new incoming colors!
