Delightful!
Thats exactly what this stamp set is.
These Delicate Dahlia Sale-A-Bration card projects were made of the catalog launch & walk through this week on Facebook Live! If you didn’t catch up with the Come, Connect, Create Team on August 3rd you can go back and watch the replay!
We had alot of fun, had some blips along the way but ya know – we keep it real!
I would have loved to used the Stampin’ Blends Markers on the envelope to be a perfect match but using them bleeds through. Maybe next time I will simply line the envelope and go for it anyway. I tried to mimic the colors I used on the card with the watercolor pencils used dry like a colored pencil. I got close!
Choosing a ‘sunrise’ color scheme was really fun. I stamped the big Dahlia image with Gray Granite Ink. Pale Papaya light & dark Stampin’ Blend Markers with a hint of Polished Pink Light Stampin’ Blend at the base of each petal give this flower a lovely look.
Check out those embellishments- they are from the Playing With Patterns Resin Dots and colored with the dark Pale Papaya Stampin’Blend! Cool huh, yellow resin dot becomes a perfect custom color!
The quick & easy SIP: Stamps, Ink , Paper approach to a note card makes Happy Thank You mail out the door fast! I stamped this card with Pale Papaya and Soft Succulent ink on the sentiment. I really like how the ink colors pair together.
A Stamparatus makes creating a circular element easy. Adhere the stamp to the stamp positioner plate – turn your cardstock after every image to create a ‘faux wreath’ like element. I stamped the detail in Evening Evergreen and the inside portion of the leaves with Soft Succulent. Adding an embossed layer adds a rather masculine element I think, the Basic White for me was a bit too bright so I toned it down with Crumb Cake ink using the Blending Brushes.
See those black dots? They are the same Playful Patterns Resin Dots I used on the first Card. I used a Black Stampin’Blend on them. They are my favorite embellishment because they are nearly flat.
