Friday’s are Better with Ice Cream!
Today is better with Ice Cream:)
The Share a Milkshake Bundle is perfect to Find Your Inspiration Friday!
This blog post will be quite a bit shorter than weeks past as the Tear Off Series was rather lengthy.
I hope you will check those out too.
Grab a spoon and let’s dig in!
A Crafters Collaboration is featured here on the ASM blog today! This card was created for this month’s Slim Line Card focus. You can find A Crafters Collaboration on Facebook and Instagram – check us out there! We host a once a month Live Demonstration on Facebook and weekly crafty shares to both.

Now, let’s talk Ice Cream…
I just knew I had to add this one to my collection! Admittedly, I need more practice stamping with this set. Forgive my first attempt! This stamp is a photopolymer set in the new January ~ April Mini Catalog. Which is great for being able to see ink/stamp/paper placement.
Side Note: Did you notice that several of the stamp sets give you the option of clear stamps (photopolymer) and cling stamps (red rubber). Not this one – but do check that out when perusing the catalog! I love that Stampin’Up! is bringing that option in!

Sticky Notes
The stamping goes easier with sticky notes – those little gems are great in the craft room. Helps you to mask what you don’t want over inked. In this case the ice cream scoop colors over the Gray Granite bowl. My need to practice comes in with the bowl images. Getting the bowl details to look right.
The card is still super cute!
Another use for the sticky notes that I should have done is masking off the cherries. I let too much red bleed in when I attempted to get a green stem with the Stampin’Write Marker. Practice will make for better Ice Cream next card!

Do It Yourself envelopes are really easy! Here’s a template to show you how I did it. Look closely at the photo and you can see where I placed Tear n Tape. Having these made up in advance in a variety of sizes make for ready to go Happy Mail! I use high quality copy paper. I purchased this recent ream through Amazon and I’m very happy with it.
Even the brightest of cards like today’s don’t show through this paper.
Tha packaging doesn’t look like much but including a photo with a link makes it easy to find. It may seem expensive but it averages to about .10c per envelope. The quality of paper used for envelopes makes a huge difference. Click on the image to go out to Amazon to check it out!
I find templates so helpful. When you click on the image you will pop over to a previous blog post all about Envelopes. Bookmark that one to find later! I like taking some crafty time just to restock my envelope pile with various sizes.
Happy Mail Ready!
