Chocolate Bar Wrapper Gets a Mailbox Makeover

Happy November 1st Stampers!

Today’s Makeover article is sweet & simple and includes a holiday color twist!

When you find a fun wrapper, packaging or box- don’t recycle it immediately- make it over first!

Mailbox Monday Makeover: Before & After

I purchased this amazing Chocolate Bar at Drip Coffee Co. in Claremore OK – it’s so, so good!

The wrapper is fun & cute too.

Mailbox Monday Makeover: Before

I decided to skip the back tab portion for the sake of #asmholidays2021 – some things need to be Q(quick) & S(simple).  I love making unique holiday projects for treat gifts, tree tuck-ins, gift cards etc.

However, I like projects that can be duplicatable and fun yet fast.

Therefore, the tab portion got the cut.  KISS- keep it simple stamper!

MMM November 1st Template

Simply breaking the wrapper down to use as a quick sketch template

makes for a quick way to get a template- no measuring and fast scoring!

Here’s the color twist!

Coastal Cabana – What a fun color choice for a Holiday Gift!  Who would be expecting this color!!

MMM Candy Wrapper Base

A corner rounder is a quick way to add a quick finished edge detail.

I love this Snowflake Ornament – this die cut is so fun!

The snowflake is cut from Basic White and the Joy

from new Kraft Cardstock with adhesive sheet applied to it.

MMM Nov. 1 Snowflake Ornament with Joy

Using paper snips – I cut the lovely script word from another die cut ornament from this set of dies.

MMM November 1st, 2021 After

Putting it all together is simple- it’s a no adhesive required project.  Tuck your treat inside, wrap some twine or ribbon and attach an ornament.   For this project- I used some leftover from a previous Paper Pumpkin kit.  I am trying to be diligent and use up my twine & ribbon stash.  Do you have one of those?  These types of project are great way to use it up!

This is a no ink needed project too!  Yes, sometimes it’s ok not to pull out the stamps & ink!
